We're experimenting over at Sunlight Labs with a "Pop-up Politician" link that will enable bloggers to add a nifty link to whatever content they're creating that refers to, for starters, a Member of Congress. If this works right, when someone writes a post, say, about Nancy Pelosi or Dennis Hastert , a reader of that blog will see a small sun symbol next to that person's name, which, if they run their mouse over, will generate a pop-up showing the Member's picture, along with direct links to their current voting record (courtesy of the Washington Post), their Congresspedia page, and their campaign finance profile from OpenSecrets.org.
